Hello

39 year old Swede here. Never had an Amiga myself back in the day but my brother did and he was nice and did let me use it alot. Used it to code Amos, Blitz and to experiment some with Protracker and Dpaint. Was never any good at any of it but still had fun. When I got my first PC in 96-97 i found UAE and started to use that and for many years emulation was my way of continuing to have fun with the Amiga. Then about 4 years ago I bought myself an A600 from a Swedish auction site that I since expanded with ACA620, network card and compact flash storage. A600 is the same model my brother has so it has alot of nostalgia for me.

Daytime I work as an IT-Technician managing the infrastructure for the City where I live. I work alot with storage, virtualization, security etc.

Outside of tech my biggest hobby is bowling. Been playing since the age of seven in tournaments and league.

Feel free to post a photo of your system if she's up and running. Would love to see your setup!

For a flicker of a second I thought you were about to tell us you were using your Amiga to run a city's infrastructure - like that Polish C64 running a garage years ago, or the Amiga that ran a school's AC/Heat in Michigan just a few years ago. Hah!

Not enough power in the old miggy for that I'm afraid. Its more like 150-200 servers (mostly virtual) running Windows that gets my attention during office hours.

Anyway here is my setup today. Nothing fancy but enough for me. The screen takes away some of the retro feel but has the advantage of displaying interlace (640x512 for me in PAL land) without flicker.

It's to connect up to three computers to the same speakers. I have two pc connected to the same monitor/mouse/keyboard and when I switch between them I don't want to kill the audio.
