If anyone remembers the old Computer Chronicles TV series which ran on PBS here in the US back in the 1980s, here's a 1985 episode where hosts Stewart Cheifet and Gary Kildall take a look at the Amiga 1000 and the Atari 520ST, which both lauched a few months before this episode was broadcast. It's a pretty good episode and shows that both computers befuddled users a bit, including their own companies.

Here's the episode on YouTube.

And while we're at it, here's an episode from 1988 where Stewart and Gary take a look at the (then) new Amiga 500.

Hah! The Atari ST were asked if they could show their own "red and white soccer ball bouncing" demo.

(laughter).
Atari guys: "That's easy!"
Computer Chronicles: "This seems to be the standard demonstration now..."
Atari guys: "Well it's a good example of graphic animation for the products."
Computer Chronicles: "Mm hm."

Here's their version of said boing ball in the video Amiga vs Atari ST - Computer Chronicles from 1985 antiquity.
