the brand new Checkmate 1500 Plus Case
There has been so much drama around this case and the ACA500+ riser. Much of it has been deleted from the individual computers website! It's the one part of the Amiga community I really can't stand. DRAMA!

For sure. Was there any earlier testing done before release.

That case does look fantastic though and I would like to get one for sure someday. Not in a rush as I have a 2000 already and my 500 doesn't get used much. I would like to see an internal ACA for the 2000. That would be neat.

By the way, the video was excellent, Doug! As was the video on the ROMulator. It is a bummer it is still not available on the AOTL website, though as I really want one of these for my 2000.

This week on 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast I review the great new book "Amiga" written by Matthew Arnold Stern, a novel starring our favorite computer! The book will be available in November, but come take a sneak peek with me, including an interview with the author.

Yes, Stephen had an older version of the ACA500+ and it worked fine. It is just the newer version from last year that has issues.
The Romulator really should be on the website now - I spoke to Amiga on the Lake this week and they promised Friday...

The ROMulators become a running gag.

I briefly got in touch with KIpper2k. AOTL should have them since ca. September, 26th.

Checking their website multiple times per day.
