I realize there has been a lot of chatter for Commodore 64 stuff lately. Part of that has been due to some of my recent acquisitions, but part is due to the simply bonkers C64 scene that just keeps on truckin'.

And today a port of Valve's classic puzzler Portal launched for the C64!

You can read all about it on Jamie Fuller's website and download the PRG file of your choice. Fuller coded the game, Del Seymour did the graphics and Roy Widding did the music and sound effects.

Couple fantastic tidbits worth noting:
  • Support for both NTSC & PAL right out of the gate
  • Support for the Commodore 1351 mouse!
I can't wait to download this over the weekend and give it a go!

The SID tunes in the intro are simply Fan. Tas. Tic.

Oh my goodness! I am downloading this! This week I have been playing "Ultima 1" on my C64 - My plan is to go through all the Ultima games as I never did as a kid. I think I will take some time off to try this one out! Thanks for the link.
