Just wanted to know if you guys still put back the RF shield after all those add-on boards, cpu relocators, KSswithers, etc. installed. I can barely put it back on mine with only 2 add-on boards ( KS switcher and DKB InsiderII).

I only put mine back on if/when it fits. If the 1000 is stock or only has a few small upgrades, absolutely. If there's too much stuff, nope. I think the shielding is mainly meant to keep RF radiation inside the Amiga. It's not been proven to cause any real harm at these doses as far as I know.

I’ve convinced myself it helps with the rigidity of the A1000 case so I always try to keep it in if at all possible.

I have a 68030TK accelerator that’s been sitting beside mine for months because I can’t bring myself to leave out the shield. :(

Leave it out. It does noting at all for the A100 other than allow it to pass the rules in place at the time for sale. It was an afterthought and not needed from the start as far as case strength goes.
