An excellent quality, USA made PCB from Acill, versus the poor quality Chinese stuff others sell. Cost more, but, are far better.
I don't know if I'd go that far. While I certainly consider myself a patriot, I've personally built an A4000 using one of Acills boards as well as numerous other projects (including one of Chucky's 3000 boards) using JLCPCB boards fabbed in China, there is very little if any difference between the two. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to hear if many shops outsource their small runs to JLC anyway.
I think some of these Chinese fabs deserve credit for the teriffic quality they can produce in so little time, at such little cost. They've certainly helped lower the cost of entry into the hobby PCB arena, and if anything might be reason projects like that board you have even exists.
By the way, you may want to check your board. Back in November I found a bug in the ZIP RAM version where U876's VSS connection to the ground foil is missing. If yours was fabbed with that revision of the gerbers you may have the issue too.
