Has anyone started a project to make replacement keyboards like how there are replacement pcb's for the 1000,2000,etc?

It seems there are a lot of 1000's without original keyboard, it would be nice to be able to get a PCB, switches and 3dprint an enclosure for it.

If not, does anyone have a non working one I could disassemble to copy?

Great idea. I have never seen anything like this, but someone should totally do it!

Incidentally, if you're looking for brand new (or close to it) Amiga 1000 switches, there is this place selling them online. A friend of mine bought these and they are the real deal.

A new PCB would be pretty cool. But on top of that, a new case / (keyboard and/or computer) would be a dream come true. I'm not holding my breath, though. I think I'd rather use an old keyboard shell than a 3D printed one, though. That's just me.

I did purchase a clear plexi back panel for my A1000 Phoenix last year, though, which is kinda cool. Even has laser-etched text labels and symbols.

It seems there was a trade up program where Commodore required the 1000 keyboard to be sent to them in exchange for a discount on a 2000 so there are a lot more 1000's than there are 1000 keyboards. I'm having trouble finding a keyboard myself so I thought this might be the next best thing.

Try reaching out to Brian Deneen with SACC.

Here's a link to their page with some contact information. I understand Brian may have some A1000 keyboards, I recently bought a complete A1000 from him.
