You can spot the Hi-Tek keyboard thru the trapdoor. Look at how clean it is!
The rubber feet are all the original, slightly tapered ones as it should be. Nice! It looks more and more promising.
Serial #36243. Quite low.

Probably never have been opened before. Hard to tell since the chicken lips never had the warranty labels. But it gave that nice "pop" when you remove a screw for the first time.
A bit dusty, but not a fingerprint anywhere. And the rev A Chinon FB-354 looks like brand new!

Not a scratch on the trapdoor header! Looks like new and that it's never been used at all. Amazing!
And look at that textile tape!

And it's alive! 33 years old. All the custom chips are dated between 1487 and 1887.
And it's booting! The drive sounds just like it should.
That's it for today! It's turned off again, and I will give it a proper cleaning to make it look just like brand new.
A good day!

Except for some dust it's in pristine shape. I was a bit shocked myself. Spotted it at a local auction site and saw that it was a chicken lips. The images were quite bad, so I didn't know much about the shape it was in before I got it home just now. Cleaned up it will look like new. I compared the outside with the inside of the trap door, and it's not yellowed at all.
Got it for just around $140.
