The 1000 booted up and made all the right noises. Color and sound look alright on my tv. The mouse needs rebuilding and I have to replace the joystick, but the keyboard is fine.

Serial #: XM1050083

Can anyone tell me any production data from that?
Date range?
Likely motherboard revision?
Any issues with Amigas made around the same time as mine?

Thank you.

Congrats on the A1000!

I'm no expert on the serial numbering for the Amiga 1000, but I do know that Dave Needle's was the first ever, and his serial number was X1000001.

So if I were to guess, I'd say yours is around the 50K one made, which might make is a somewhat later model since they didn't sell a gazillion of them like they did the A500.
