Very cool hack by Stian Søreng creates a new audio port from a very unlikely source - one that shipped with Amiga no less.
Ok, so it's not a real, real audio channel, but I'm talking about something capable of outputting audio: the Amiga composite video port. It's the same socket as the other two audio ports, it outputs terrible video quality and is not in use on most Amigas. So why not put it to work?
It's a and a really innovative idea and fascinating execution. Give it a look, and a listen.

This was made just for fun as a proof-of-concept, and as far as I can tell, it has no real practical use. With a little added circuitry the 50Hz hum from the SYNC signals can be eliminated, but then it wouldn't be as simple to implement as it is now. You may have noticed that the tune I made is resonant with the 50Hz hum, as an attempt to cover it up a little.
