Hi all, based on the EzdineG A1000 relocator I´ve made a remix Amiga 1000 relocator that includes a 27c160 EPROM (2MB) which can hold up to 4 different kickstarts. It also has a small board with a rotary switch to select the appropiate kickstart.
The installation is like EzdineG explained in another post, anyway here you have some pictures of the mod:

1 - Desolder U6J, put a socket and leave out the pin number 17

2 - Solder a resistor between pins 1 and 20 of U4K (I used a 4K7 1206 SMD resistor with 2 wires)

3 - Solder a wire to the via shown in the picture near U5M (I recommend to use a dupont wire and cut the connector of one side)

4 - You must also remove the ODD (U5P) an EVEN (U5N) half kickstart from the board.

Here is the relocator

and the rotary

The EPROM must be programmed using an adaptor for the TL866II plus programmer like this one

The 2 jumpers of A18 and A19 are used to select the address of the 512K for each kickstart using the same config as the rotary switch.
e.g,:
A18 = 0 : A19 = 0 ------ 1ST KICKSTART (1.3)
A18 = 1 : A19 = 0 ------ 2ND KICKSTART (2.05)
A18 = 0 : A19 = 1 ------ 3RD KICKSTART (3.1)
A18 = 1 : A19 = 1 ------ ROMDIAG or other

For the moment I´m uploading the project to my github so when it´s up I´ll post the link.
Update: Here is the link to github----https://github.com/CrackenDesigns/Amiga4Kickstart

Best wishes.

This is a fabulous mod - thanks so much for sharing! Where are you going to mount the switcher?

This is awesome - thanks for posting!

Are you selling your homebrew boards?
Couldn´t finish the post :lol:

As I said on the second post all the info will be shared and you can order your own board and build it. I have 9 left but I made a mistake with the panelization and the small rotary has a missing ground plane.

Thanks so much ;)

My plan is to make a 3D small box to stick with velcro or something to the amiga.

Yeah sorry - I posted before I realized you were still at work. I quickly deleted it but ah well.

Four roms and a nice, small footprint. Great work, Jiggoly!
