Rising from the ashes

by intric8 Wed Nov 08, 2017 8:31 am

I have something really crazy - and I do mean crazy - cooking up in the background. I can't say much about it until I get it in my hands, which could be a few weeks (the item in question is coming from a very long distance away) but I'll just say this:

It's extremely rare. Only ~100 ever made originally.
And it's extremely awesome.

If I get it working (and all indications are very good) it might be one of the only working examples in the US that I'm aware of.

Stay tuned.

Maybe not "only 100 ever made" rare, but rare none-the-less. I believe there have been 3 separate runs of what you speak. The original run in the 90s, the 100 or so run back in the early 2000s, and a recent run in the past 2 years of maybe 50 or so. Looking forward to pics and the review!

I was referring to the original set from the 90s, which (I think) was the first ever crowd-funded project for the Amiga. I don't know how it was done and that's a history I hope to learn.
