Yeah, one for vga, and on the 3000, the second one (just like the only one in a vanilla 2000 and the 500) is for rgb.
Interesting, I didnt know that. thanks for the info. Odd they are for two different things but are the exact same 'chip' so to speak.

Yeah, it's basically a digital-to-analog converter, and both rgb and vga are analog.

Was the A2320 available some time before the A3000 was released or did it arrive after?

Is all the circuitry identical to what is on the A3000's motherboard?

I know intric8 is a purist when it comes to Amigas :) so I do not expect you to use the card with an LCD. I wonder how good it will do with a modern LCD display, though.

When I last had my A3000, I had an RTG card installed connected to an old Dell 17" 4:3 LCD. I do not believe I ever tested the built-in display enhancer with an LCD. Before my RTG card, I was using an NEC 3D CRT. That was a nice monitor. Too bad it kicked the bucket.
