@catman, glad you got your build working that always feels good after spending countless hours soldering. I started mine a couple of years ago but put it aside after soldering in all the low profile parts, resistors, caps, FBs, Diodes, etc. I finished an ICS64 C64 board and a bunch of other stuff in between. Finally resumed the A2000 build. Too hot here though to be in my garage.

So many projects to finish and not enough time.

hehe, i got some spare time... I'd never soldered much before this apart from doing a few wires and popping on a cap for stuff that fell off.

The bug has bit though, i've got amiga 600/1200 mechanical keyboard pcb's on the way and a zorro 2 lan ide card.. getting the cpld will be harder though

Does anyone have a part number or vendor for the Amiga 2000 Power Connector?

It looks like a 14 pin CH3.96 3.96mm connector?

First of all, good day to all of you - new here. I hope is OK to add to this old topic. If not, will make a new one.

So many times did I read about restoring/building A2000 and kinda think is time to try and build it myself.
I see that most popular MB replica is from floppie209 but wanna hear if someone has tryed building the EATX version from Jasons Beer: https://github.com/jasonsbeer/Amiga-2000-EATX/ ?
It has few 'modern' touches and compatible with new cases. Also with components that still can be ordered.
To be honest I kinda like that idea but can't find (so far) BOM file for mouser. I am in Europe (Croatia) and would like not to pay a ton on postage from USA and i guess building my own BOM from skratch (or making order piece by piece) its gonna take weeks, but will do if needed. :P
I have my childhood A2000 (not working), missing keyboard. Came with two cards (PC bridge and SCSI card if I remember correctly). Also, friend got me his broken A500, so I am hopping to have at least one set of custom chips. Would like to connect to VGA screen at least and add CF/SD card for WHDLoad setup.

Would appreciate any constructive advice. Thank you.

If you still have your childhood A2000, more than likely it doesn't work due to battery damage. Plenty of the chips can probably be salvaged from it though, with the right tools. I built the floppie version, pretty easy build. It fits right into your existing case, so you can use the old board as wall art, a frisbee, whatever ;)
