Hey everyone,
After meeting mattsoft here in Seattle a few times and once down in Portland, I couldn't take it anymore. It's time to make a real Commodore club like back in the day. I'm still working out the details on the venue, but I think it's going to work out one way or the other.
The name I came up with is the Seattle Commodore Computer Club. Or, pronounced "Sea-sea-sea-sea".
I've got a quickie site up:
sea-ccc.org
This will give a few of us in the area the opportunity to meet in person on a semi-regular basis. Up to this point, Matt and I would stand out in my office parking lot and talk for an hour or so, often in the cold and/or rain. No more. We always wanted to talk more, but ... you know. Work.
At the SEA-CCC events we'll discuss scene news, mods, hacks, games, demo hardware ... whatever. 8-bits and 16-bits welcome (and non C= too).
And if you're not around Seattle but happen to be visiting, do let us know either here on AmigaLove or over on sea-ccc.org. If there's enough lead time we might be able to get you into a meet-up we have planned, or create a custom one on the fly, which would be awesome.
More on this soon.
