Fellow Amiga nut here. 45 years old, father of four and husband of one. Owner of an Amiga 2000 (my swedish BBS - www.deltacity.se) and a Amiga 500+ with 1MB RAM expansion and a GVP HD+ with a 44MB SCSI drive and 2MB RAM. I used to own an A1200 and a A600 but I sold them both since they kind of didn't mean anything to me and the memories from my youth. Hunting for a 68020 or 68030 for my Amiga 500+ and one day I may have the pleasure of owning an Amiga 3000 too. :)

I've edited three editions of Datormagazin Retro, a print magazine of 100 pages each focused on Commodore computers and some others as well which have sold about 2000 copies each.

I sometimes blog (in Swedish) at www.joacimmelin.se and I also run an FTP server at ftp://ftp.fidonet.io with about 2,5TB of retro files (mostly Amiga and Commodore related stuff).

Hello joacim! Thanks so much for joining - and thanks for sharing those links! I can't wait to browse through your FTP server and see what you have stored in there.

Your magazine looks awesome. I wish I knew how to speak Swedish!

Cheers

Thanks! We had writers, a professional designer and photographer to do the cover photos for #1 and #3 and we made sure everyone got paid for their work. I hope we can do a fourth issue at some point but it's always very hard to get a kickstarter through the door to fund the production each time, at least here in Sweden.

Some of those images in the "renderings" of your ftp look familiar. Who is the artist?

Which "renderings" are you referring to?

Part of my collection.

The A1200 and the C128D are no longer in my collection but the A2000 is.

The A500+ pictured here has since been expanded with a TF530 accelerator (68030@33Mhz, MMU and 2MB RAM), KS 3.1 and 1MB RAM in the RAM expansion slot which takes it to 4MB in total. The GVP drive has 2MB RAM and a 100MB SCSI drive that actually works perfectly but alas it will not work with the TF530 so it's in a box at the moment.

I also have four A500, one C128, a 1571 drive and some other stuff and tons and tons and tons of diskettes and original games in their boxes.
