I got my C64 mechanical keyboard waiting for keycaps and this is a perfect solution to finish it.
I hope they came available soon.

What is this board? I have the one by MtnBuffalo, but this is different.
Indeed. I would like to know that too.
I made my own mechanical keyboard for my C64 (i got the ultimate elite and the thomas kotch case but no new KB). It's made from ground. I will publish the gerbers and design on my github soon so everyone can build one.

Will definitely buy 3-4 sets, but would prefer a breadbin brown color option as well.

Do people really want a brown printed set? There are over 11 million of those in existence already. :)

They do yellow, get blemished, damaged, or are missing
and people need replacements. I’m sure there will be a market for fresh new breadbin brown sets.

That's great! But a metal (or plastic) bracket or plate would be needed in addition to the PCB, right? Maybe a kit with the PCB and bracket could be made, and then people could solder it themselves? A group buy could be the way to go ;)

...and I would very much like a brown option as well! :D

Well, that sounds amazing and I'll definitely back this project, so please keep us updated here, Jim. :)

Looking through my C64 projects, I'll definitely need 3 sets, yeah.

This is my personal favorite, and the reason I am doing this at all.

So excited by this. I'm prepared to back it for 10 sets. That black render is beautiful, as are those clear keycaps. Outstanding work Jim.

Those renders were done by Dan, so he gets credit for those - but that is exactly how the keycaps will look!
