You guys have got to go take a look at this man's work.

The creator is named Atilla Meriç and I believe he is Turkish. He meticulously hand-built his very own 64C case out of wood, and it's simply gorgeous. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is stunning. This project took him about 2 months from start to finish in his spare time.

On his blog - with this help of his cousin, who took the photos - he shows every step he took to get from the concept stage all the way to the finished product. And quite frankly the photography is inspired, too.

Prior to this project, he got his feet wet by starting on a little wooden SD2IEC case in the image of a mini-floppy drive similar to a 1581. Then he goes on to make an LCD case for his monitor, a data cassette player and a cartridge case.

I wouldn't recommend making a wooden joystick. Hah! Amazing.
