This is a little fuzzy for me because it was a while back; I once installed magic workbench and, therefore, must have installed MUI. But, one of the two was unregistered. I ended up having to deal with something I didn't like due to it being unregistered. I cannot remember what it was that I didn't like but I remember something pestering me. I am not sure if it was icons or something.
My understanding is that MUI is merely a set of libraries and installing MUI standalone will not affect how my WB looks.
MagicWb uses the MUI libraries and affects how workbench looks.
MUI requires registration. I am not sure about MagicWb.
Correct if I am wrong.
Anyway, I have been apprehensive about using MUI ever since because there is no simple uninstallation. It would be possible to reverse engineer the installed things but this is manual effort or a script.. Either way some effort.
I am wondering if there is a Web browser that does not depend on MUI. My question is: is there such a thing for 3.1?
